Wet film-based imaging system represents working with noxious-smelling chemicals and maintaining a darkroom. Computed radiography (CR) imaging system requires the extra step of scanning and digitizing each captured image. Direct radiography (DR) requires no steps for imaging and provides imaging results instantly.
