CsI Full Field Digital Wired Mammography Diagnostic X-ray Imaging Flat Plate

The performance of the detector, mostly determining the overall visualization of microcalcifications in a breast image in the early critical detection of breast cancer, is the most important component of a complete direct radiography (DR) mammography system. The 70-μm CsI full field digital wired mammography diagnostic x-ray imaging flat plate (MMD1012) delivers the excellent image contrast and high-quality image processing required for DR mammography, while offering the potential for significantly lower X-ray radiation dose and optimized X-ray beam. MMD1012 fitting into a standard bucky for conventional and computed radiography (CR) mammography makes the DR X-ray mammography retrofit easy and cost-effective for healthcare providers to upgrade their existing X-ray mammography modalities. The solution adopts a unique dose alignment procedure to calibrate the automatic exposure control (AEC) of the mammography X-ray units.
