► DT500H can be equipped with up to three film trays, supporting multiple film sizes. Its built-in DICOM Print Server ensures fast, error-free communication with any DICOM-compliant modality on the network. With its robust design and advanced technologies, DT500H serves as a central imager for interconnected modalities, enhancing network efficiency.

► Its dry laser imaging system delivers a high throughput of 110 to 160 films per hour (depending on film size) while maintaining premium image quality. Designed for the busiest radiology departments, its laser exposure thermal development system can process up to 110 prints per hour (14 x 17″), with an initial film output of just 65 seconds, all without compromising image quality.

► It is a high-resolution laser imager that enhances diagnostic accuracy with absolutely no compromise on image quality. Its dry laser imaging process utilizes interpolation to adjust the size of medical diagnostic images from modalities, generating film outputs in various formats. With a 50-micron resolution and a maximum density of 4.0, it is ideal for Women’s Health Centers and Full Field Digital Mammography departments, providing amazing throughput.

► It offers the advantages of a digital system, including daylight operation, so no darkroom is required. As a DRY system, it eliminates the need for chemicals, reducing both handling and disposal concerns. This also contributes to lower operating costs and improves efficiency, while avoiding environmental impact.

Dry Laser Image-forming Principle

DT500H: Dry Laser Image-forming Principle

DT500H uses a dry laser imaging process that combines laser exposure with thermal development. After being exposed to a highly precise laser, the photo-sensitive film is uniformly heated using e-Join’s advanced thermal element technology. This process, paired with e-Join’s Automatic Film Density Calibration and LFF films, produces sharp, stable images with a wide density range and neutral tone, comparable to those of traditional wet processing films. The modulated laser exposure based on input data allows for ultra-precise images while significantly reducing processing time. e-Join’s expertise in dry imaging ensures consistent, high-quality results with fast throughput.

Higher-resolution Mechanism

Customers prioritize the reliability of dry laser imagers, which is determined by the ability to produce stable, high-quality images that clearly reveal minute lesions. The key to DT500H’s performance lies in its fine laser beams, which minimize blur and maintain a high CTF (Contrast Transfer Function) and sharp, clear images, as demonstrated in the figure below. Simply using high dpi (dot per inch) scanning alone is not enough to achieve optimal image quality. e-Join’s exclusive Dry Laser Films prevent laser beam scattering during image recording, ensuring virtually no blur, superior resolution and high image clarity, even beyond the specified dpi. Its printed images are larger than those of competitors, offering both clinical and economic benefits.
