NDT E7

ISO 11699-1: C5, Industrial X-ray Imaging Blue Base Clear Film

Containing organic silver oxide emulsions coated on a blue-tinted polyester support with approximately 175μm thickness, Industrial X-ray Film (NDT E7) is extremely versatile, which makes it a great solution for many Non-destructive testing (NDT) industrial applications. The very fine grain NDT E7 is suitable for the inspection ofa light metals with low activity radiation sources and for inspection of thick, higher density specimens with high kilovoltage X-ray or gamma ray sources. NDT E7 is not only generally used in direct exposure techniques with lead foil screens, but also suitable for use with fluorescent or fluorometallic screens. This industrial X-ray imaging blue base clear film (NDT E7) offers incredibly robust handling characteristics to withstand high temperatures and humidity, and be resistant to static artifacts, so a remarkable consistent fine-grain image quality could be yielded regardless of the material examined and the source of radiation employed.
