NDT E4

ISO 11699-1: C3, Industrial X-ray Imaging Blue Base Clear Film

Industrial X-ray Film (NDT E4) is specifically designed for use in multiple film techniques within the most demanding radiographic Non-destructive testing (NDT) environments. Directly exposed with high-voltage X-rays or gamma rays, the silver-based industrial X-ray imaging blue base clear film (NDT E4) will deliver consistently superior sharpness, high discrimination characteristics, ultra-fine granularity, and excellent sensitivity to meet the imaging testing needs. It is preferably suited for use with any low atomic number material where fine image detail is amazing. Incorporating Revolutionary New Emulsion technology for superb results with direct X-rays or lead foil screens, the ultra-fine grain film especially makes it useful in high energy, low subject contrast applications where high curie isotopes or high output X-ray generators permit its use. Wide exposure latitude has been proved in high subject contrast applications.

Advantages

◙ High Image Quality.
◙ Less Frequency of Chemical Change.
◙ Constant performance to increase productivity.
◙ Meets the economical and environmental needs.
◙ Processed manually or automatically in a range of processing cycles.
◙ Even-uniform emulsion coating avoids most of the density unevenness sometimes occurring in automatic processing.

Ideal For

Very low graininess film with very high contrast and medium speed. Suitable for a wide variety of critical NDT radiography applications. For exposure with lead screens, using either X-ray, gamma rays or radiation from megavolt equipment.
